Recipe: Scrambled Salsa
I’m a broke college student, and often find myself scrounging through the kitchen for my last bits of food at 4am. tonight i came up with something that was surprisingly tasty, all with random bits of my roomate’s food! heres the recipe:
Scrambled Salsa (serves 1, time: 10min)
INGREDIENTS: 2 eggs, butter, bread crumbs, salsa, cheddar cheese, milk, various common spices
-heat a nonstick pan to medium heat, grease pan w/ butter
-beat 2 eggs with a bit of milk to an even consistancy
-add some breadcrumbs, a dash of chile pepper, to the eggs
-pour mixture onto skillet, cook on mediumLow-medium until eggs are 75% sollidified. scramble.
-add salt, pepper, paprika to taste
-add bigg dollop of salsa (preferribly chunky and spicy salsa). add small handfull of cheese (must be cheddar, no fake american!). scramble.
-cook on medium until solidified and not too wattery. DONT OVERCOOK- should be fairly moist, fluffy, and delicious
